Kabul Restaurant in Wuppertal

First of all: the owner and cook Mr. Rahim is one of the friendliest and warmest people we have met so far. We have been going to the buffet on weekends for years. Everything really tastes good here. As a vegetarian, I always get my money's worth. Due to the corona pandemic, Kabul is currently offering a delivery service. This one is also highly recommended. If you miss a visit to a restaurant, you can't go wrong here. Very good, tasty and healthy food at a more than fair price.

The food is simply amazing. It is always hot when delivered to our doorsteps. The owner is simply a sweetheart and have amazing service :)

I don't often write reviews, but this restaurant and its owner more than deserve it. Even if I was skeptical at first, the food is more than good. In fact, very good, excellent, I would like to say. There was nothing at the buffet that wasn't ideally seasoned and tasted to the point. The different meat variations were all tender and very intense in taste, something you are not used to from buffets. One also had the impression that the individual ingredients were not only prepared with specialist knowledge, but were also purchased in high quality. The whole, coupled with an incredibly hospitable owner and a price that was almost too low in my eyes (buffet cost 13.50 euros on a Sunday evening) actually deserves more than 5 stars. Even the drinks were amazingly affordable when you consider that this is where most of the buffet options hit hard.

We were looking for something fancy, good for dinner - and that's where we found it. The meals are made by the owner himself. He came from Afghanistan about 40 years ago, so it's authentic. The owner is also really very friendly. We had the buffet, which is always there on the weekend, for € 13.50. Lots of different dishes and also refilled immediately when it was empty.

The owner is very friendly and the food is a delicious way to try new tastes. The price-performance ratio is excellent!

We chose this restaurant because it was listed in the voucher book and we found the Afghan cuisine interesting. It is a small restaurant, rather simply furnished, but overall the ambience fits, also with the subtle music. The owner is very friendly. We found the food very tasty! The prices are reasonable. We will definitely come back (also with friends) and try the buffet that we read about on the homepage.

Incredibly friendly owner, generous buffet with, among other things, super tender lamb, chicken in a delicious sauce, various vegetables and spicy chutney. Everything was continuously replenished and for only 13.50 euros! Thick recommendation ☺ PS Don't forget dessert!

Such a special restaurant, such a hospitable owner. Unfortunately we weren't there often, but we always liked to be there. Very tasty food, rather simple but very cozy atmosphere and a great change to try out a new kitchen ?

Mega! Very delicious food and a very nice chef. I can only recommend everyone to eat there.

Delicious food, but uncomfortable atmosphere (too narrow, you sit with strangers at an 8 person table). There is no drinks menu and the water is brought to the table in small PET bottles. Then it is said out loud that X guests are waiting outside for a table, which means that you don't want to stay seated any longer. Very nice host, friendly service, but unfortunately too many criticisms.

Excellent food and special tastes

Really very recommendable! All dishes are delicious, inexpensive and very polite owners. Gladly again and again ? people definitely visit Kabul restaurant !!! Another little tip. It would be nice if there were real Afghan songs playing in the background instead of just melodies. Otherwise perfect !!

Delicious! We were a little skeptical at first because the restaurant does not look really inviting from the outside. But you have to go in to discover the charm. The food was delicious and the owner very nice.

Food was delicious. And hospitality was excellent. Kids friendly restaurant. And lovely background music which will really soothe the soul as flavorful dishes satiate the tastebuds.

Buffet style food with a good selection to choose from. The food was hot and tasted delicious. The owner who cooks and serves drinks was attentive and greeted us personally. The restaurant was atmospheric which added to the experience.

Very tasty food, in an authentic nice restaurant. A very nice boss who constantly tries to satisfy his customers. Buffet for 12 euros is really awesome, especially when it comes to the selection. Both vegetarians and meat eaters get their money's worth here. I can only recommend it. The only small drawback is the parking situation. But you can usually find something quickly in the surrounding streets and be in the restaurant within a few minutes.
